Vaping: Myths and Realities
The US Department of Public Health created this website to inform teens and parents on the health effects and risks about vaping, the new trend in smoking. Statitics show teens are vaping more than ever with an increase in use from 3 - 20% in the past 3 years. Talk to your child about vaping risks and stay informed.
This powerpoint created by Stanford University was used during the vaping lesson to inform students about what's actually in E-Cigarettes and why they are harmful. This information debunks the 2 major myths about vaping 1) "It's only water vapor, and its healthy" and 2) There is no nicotine in vape cigarettes.
