Digital Video Production
Instructor: Mr DonnellyDigital Video Productions
This is a project based class in which students will learn all phases of video production. Students will explore and develop understanding of each stage of production from pre-production story boarding, lighting, sound, camera techniques, green screening, interview techniques, as well as post-production editing using Adobe Premiere Pro, a professional editing software. Students will exercise these skills through projects such as the production of commercials, documentaries, short movies, and music videos. Students will also be responsible for reflecting on the ever changing landscape of digital media through the lens of current events. Students should be prepared to reflect on these ideas and the entire process through journals, open discussions, and reflection papers.
