The WHS Social Studies Department focuses on history, psychology, and economics. In addition, our Longships program studies Viking life and culture by designing, building, and exhibiting medieval Scandinavian ships, games, textiles, weapons, and art objects. Our department also handles Mock Trial, Model UN, the Current Events Club, the Outdoors Club, the Powder Puff team, the WGBH Quiz Bowl team, and the National Honor Society.
